But it did occur to me only a few years ago that it was cost-saving. Oh honey you really should have something to put your clean clothes in! |

Check out the 'sewing thread' that is widely used along the inside of short-shorts - its serrated fish-gut! And used on the joins on T-shirts and vests and especially the inside waist hem in jeans.. Simply astounding! At first i wondered about the waist high rash I got wearing jeans and decided to check closely as to what was up - turns out there was three or four rows of the serrated (yellow) 'fish-gut thread' that had me irritated for years. Bet you the upmarket stores know this and don't stock these clothes designed to irritate and keep you on edge and unhappy. Wear your inside clothes inside out if you want to be a smooth operator!
