If the guy did use the stun gun and hit the cop what would have stopped him from then grabbing the cops real gun and executing both of the officers. It's a job and no job is worth being killed over. Of course police officers are quitting. The two guys in Atlanta were called because some guy was passed out behind the wheel in the Wendy's drive thru lane, blocking it. They go get him and his car out of the way, they give the guy a field sobriety test and he fails miserably, so they go to arrest him. He decides to fight the cops. (He already had multiple felony convictions, so are we surprised?). He throws them to the ground, punches one of them in the face, tries to grab their weapons, manages to steal one of their tasers, runs with it, turns around and fires it at the pursuing officers, who return fire. And the cop who shot him is charged with MURDER??? Are you fucking kidding me?? What cop in his right mind would ever go back to work after that?
