Message Subject Can warmongers explain why they want to bomb Iran?

OP you ask a simple question, and no one on GLP
can answer it..

I don't think anyone WANTS to bomb Iran, Iran's defiance of demands to curtail uranium enrichment are putting them
at odds with the World body.

The U.S. says it seeks a peaceful resolution of the Iranian nuclear dispute and also says it has taken no options off the table.

It's Iran's Choice,to STOP uranium enrichment,if they
stop there nuclear activities they won't have a problem.

No one wants to bomb Iran? Think again. Here are three.

Lieberman-Kyl Amendment
From [email protected]
9-26-7
In case you thought it was just an aberrant moment of lunacy last week when Lieberman pressed General Petraeus for an attack on Iran, just before the weekend he introduced an amendment to the defense bill to authorize exactly that. No, we are not kidding. He has drafted language that any impartial observer would interpret as a DECLARATION OF WAR against Iran, and he is pressing for a vote as fast as possible.

Why Does Norman Podhoretz Hate America?
by Michael Scheuer
World War IV: The Long Struggle Against Islamofascism
Norman Podhoretz
Doubleday, 2007
240 pp.
Norman Podhoretz's new book, World War IV: The Long Struggle Against Islamofascism, is a hate-filled, anti-American book of the first order. Podhoretz hates every American who does not support the neoconservatives' views, the foreign policy they have devised, and the military and national security disasters to which they are leading America.

AIPAC's Big, Bigger, Biggest Moment
By Dana Milbank
The Washington Post
Tuesday, May 24, 2005; Page A13
How much clout does AIPAC have?
Well, consider that during the pro-Israel lobby's annual conference yesterday, a fleet of police cars, sirens wailing, blocked intersections and formed a motorcade to escort buses carrying its conventioneers -- to lunch....(Richard) Perle drew cheers for denouncing Palestinian anti-Semitism and the French. Harman mentioned that an aide once worked for AIPAC, called her audience "very sophisticated" and celebrated Yasser Arafat's death as "a blessing." Debating a hard-liner in front of a pro-administration crowd, HARMAN HEAPED PRAISE ON PRESIDENT BUSH, CALLING THE IRAQI ELECTIONS "SENSATIONALLY IMPRESSIVE" AND MOVING TO "APPLAUD" OR "COMMEND" PERLE AND THE ADMINISTRATION A DOZEN TIMES. "RICHARD IS RIGHT, AND SO IS PRESIDENT BUSH," SHE SAID AT ONE POINT. BUT AFTER HALF AN HOUR OF THIS, HARMAN COULD NOT KEEP UP. PERLE PROVOKED CHEERS FROM THE CROWD WHEN HE FAVORED A MILITARY RAID ON IRAN, SAYING THAT "IF IRAN IS ON THE VERGE OF A NUCLEAR WEAPON, I THINK WE WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE DECISIVE ACTION." WHEN HARMAN SAID THE "BEST SHORT-TERM OPTION" IS THE U.N. SECURITY COUNCIL, THE CROWD REACTED WITH BOOS.
