Was Britain colonized? Yes, it was colonised by successive waves of people from the Beaker people around 2000BC, Celts from around 600BC, Romans from 43AD, After 410AD Irish and Saxon invasions and colonisation occurred, various Viking colonisations and then in 1066AD the Norman conquest.
