It is not that crime went down, it is that crimes go unreported / unrecorded  What a crock. They specifically focus on violent crimes and of course ignore nonsense 'drug' crimes, which aren't crimes to begin with. So of course, 'crime' goes down. Just like when you jackoffs redefined a 'crime' to include what someone does in the privacy in their own home with their own body the numbers all went up.
