They WILL NOT listen to anyone else's opinions, especially conservatives or Trump supporters. I cannot tell you how nasty people we have known for YEARS - and for him, his relatives - because we dared to express political opinions they don't agree with. People who will not accept you and who treat you like dirt because you're a Trump supporter or a conservative don't love you and they won't support you in a crisis. My family as a whole has been fair to everyone. In the 70s we were hiring and promoting blacks who had served time for nonviolent offenses, when no one else would hire them.

We not only rented to a couple of really nice, good gay couples, but we actively defended them a few times when it was needed.

Our black neighbor went blind, and we did what we could to help. My mom looked out for the boys like she did the other neighborhood kids.

My elders taught us not to mix races, they said for the kids' sake, but never gave a crap if others did. My best friend, now dead, had 2 mixed kids. They were always welcome at our house.

So wtf did we get so evil?
We never thought anyone's life didn't matter.

Keep in mind, you cannot win everyone with logic. Most people are not logic driven, unfortunately. You must speak their language. Be creative in your approach.
