Wow, fuck these people, that is 25 miles as the crow flies over the mountain from my property in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

It is always fire danger time up here and especially after another year of sparse rain, the grasses are already end of summer dry, and the redwoods too.

When I read they were going rural to kill livestock and start fires I pictured middle America, not millions of acres of precious life giving Redwood trees in a forest full of wild animals as well as humans.
