Do you know what the reason for the valuation increase is?

You recieved a surplus , while someone else recieved a deduction.

Do you know who?

I'm holding BTC, LTC, CEL, and DGB, my only significant holdings, and a few XRP crumbs. I wish I had some of the other great alts, but pretty maxed on the the hodls.

I do not know. I've been busy and not watching.

The system of finance is pervasive and seemingly filled with good things that...idk.

It's cool. Just to comment a bit on why I see these cryptos as different than fiat; first given, the current banking system sucks for the people. They encourage no savings by paying nothing on our deposits. They rake it in on fees hitting the poorest the hardest, and charge huge interest on credit. They inflate fiat further stealing value of peoples' labor. They use the practically infinite cash creation to finance politicians' rackets, war, etc.

I'm a huge fan of CEL because it represents and provides for a way to encourage, once again, savings, real interest not only on cash in the form of stablecoin, but more importantly, deflationary assets which are these top cryptos (and gold-backed stablecoin), mostly decentralized, and that are shown to preserve and increase in value, exactly the opposite of fiat. CEL represents mass adoption of most all top cryptos in form of replacing the banking system, real interest, collateral loans and evolving payment systems. I know there are other projects out there trying to do the same.

I'm sure many could go on better than me on the incredible tech behind these alts as well apart from payment systems and store of value. There is some amazing utility. Looking into the details of them can quickly glaze over the eyes of anyone not tech nerded into it, which is why mass adoption may depend much more on what can be better understood, interest income.
