I understand the slippery slope we are on as a nation. Siting history and lessons from the past is all well and good but, this IS America! Perhaps we should have more faith in our people and the elected officials here. Maybe America will get it right and turn this into a beautiful thing. We shouldn't think that we are anything like Russia or China, we aren't! We have a whole different soul here. Remember the American spirit, our soldiers still carry that spirit and a very good percentage of our people do too! There's a few out causing chaos and it's horrendous but, it's not everyone. My suggestion is to keep vigilant but, don't let yourself crack up, don't lose your ability to discern. The only thing to fear is not having the ability to say no when asked to betray your soul or your country. On that day, may God be with you so that you would be willing to die for the right reason and not live for a piece of security or a morsel of food if it meant that someone else had to lose or that you would be required to be a traitor of your own conscience and soul.

This is probably a glimpse of what would happen with a UBI. Wanna bet the percentage of those in those riots that are getting that 600+ a week?
