Waco - Netflix, a MUST watch

The same sniper was at Waco and Ruby ridge. Flir imaging showed they were firing on the people who were exiting the inferno, and Ruby ridge was another story in itself.

I haven't seen that film, but the Netflix series puts 99% of the blame on the ATF and 1% of the blame on the Branch Davidians.

So, I don't know what kind of angle could possibly be inserted in there.

It also had a very favorable depiction of the Weavers in the Ruby Ridge intro.

I grind my teeth as I read this.

I watched it, felt bad for the women and kids Koresh was a psycho he could have let them go but IMO was a control freak using God to control those poor saps.

Still FBI effed up big time but Koresh keeping that stuff going for over a month was going to lead to bad things

I lived in Waco back then. I loved radio, and I remember some radio personality would interview koresh on the phone. It was like word salad, nothing made much sense. I sure wish I knew who the interviewer was, dammit. I watched KWTX daily, and recall the constant helicopters going over my house, because the compound was just outside Waco.

The day they murdered the people, I cried. I had young kids back then and my heart broke for those innocent lives. I always wondered, they knew he jogged around the roads, they knew he went to gun shows..so wtf didnt u nab him then, if he was harming anyone. I think I will watch the show and see what they got.

Looks good, I am going to watch using my mother in law's profile, just in case...

Not a bad series but they should have called out the scumbag sniper Lon Horiuchi by name.

Also, they missed the tank with the flamethrower on the front of it.

I watched this live, and then later a journalist who did a documentary of it having taken live shots, interviews and past live videos.
It was so infuriating, sad, frustrating, and heart wrenching to watch. Traumatizing what they did.

I can't retraumatize myself again through netflix.

But for those who have no idea of this or want to retraumatize themselves again, go at it.

Netflix hosts the Paramount film. You could probably watch it on Paramount network. It's a good series.

And you are completely wasted or retarded as this makes no sense.

It was really compelling, it was way better than I expected. It's also a pretty balanced portrayal and doesn't shy away from showing wrong doing on behalf of the jack-boots. And it doesn't paint the Davidians as out and out whackos either despite some of their beliefs being admittedly pretty out there.

Netflix didn’t produce it, Paramount network did, it was released on their channel 2 years ago

Also, series is based on the accounts of two books, one by a survivor and one by the fbi negotiator.

I read a book years ago wrote by one of the swat/mil no excuse for murder but those guys in that house were up to all sorts they set it on fire before any flares were fired apparently

I watched it when it originally came out a couple years ago. I was surprised it correctly portrayed the government as the bad guys.
