I will definitely check it out. I remember it happening, and thinking it should never have ended that way... just horrible. As you said - Koresh may have been whacko, but certainly it could have been handled differently. Too many innocents died - were killed - that day.

I was VERY surprised at how fair they were portraying the Branch Davidians.

Probably a bit too fair, they were only like two scenes where they were armed.

And they left out the part where the mothers shot their kids and then themselves in the school buses... in this dramatization there weren't even any firearms down there.

I remember well. Maybe a couple of years after that I met a girl who was a friend of a friend. She used to come into the business a few times. Her mother was a member and they lived there. Her mother had been killed and this poor girl had been horribly burned over most of her body. I know back then she was still going through many surgeries and other things. I don't know what ever happened to her. It was heartbreaking to see any human being living though what she did and probably still is.

I have no idea what facts you are talking about. I heard MSM accounts of this but zero evidence that it actually happened.

Saw the series. Amazing performance and storytelling. I agree, the FBI killed those people inside by using flammable tear gas. How do they expect them to get out to surrender when you have tanks shooting tear gas directly through the walls? They literally didn’t even give them room to BREATHE. It’s like telling somebody to answer your questions while strangling them.

Be careful watching any documentaries type movies on Netflix. It has become increasingly easy for producers to get their content on Netflix accurate or not. Netflix is using an algorithm of stored data you authorize to through your subscription to bring content to you. They are not concerned about vetting facts within the content... Just that you watch is all that concerns them. Their team is massive in numbers.
