I think Gowdy had worked with the FBI in last year's as a lawyer and was impressed with their work. The same with his DOJ contacts. When this hit, he didn't understand just how deep it went because he didn't have the facts and as a good lawyer, he needed facts. The House also doesn't prosecute, it can hold hearings and uncover information. But the Executive branch enforces, arrests,prosecutes,incarcerates.

Awesome! Gowdy started out saying the right things, but he changed. I suspect the money sloshing around in DC is the reason. Gaetz, Jordan, and Nunez have been all over this story, without wavering. Gowdy has become a swamp dweller. Time to send him home.
