For those who really understand / know what this "virus" is about? Probably so!

Excellent post Reaching. It really is only a few hundred thousand people orchestrating this whole lockdown. Right now our main weapons are the media, open letters and prayer. The harder we fight on the media front, the shakier their narrative becomes. My friends and family in the Uk are all super-skeptical right now.

And the most interesting thing? Police seem to be quietly standing down.

So in my region. This whole Corona virus thing is less an issue than the flu, drunk driving casualty's, and opiate overdoses.

If its just another natural outbreak then there will only be one big long wave and then immunity.

Yes. There will be dramatically increased numbers of confirmed cases and deaths, and then the lockdowns will tighten.

My concern would be economy crippling measures such as no more food take out or delivery or drive thru, no more “non-essential” goods to be sold at Target or Walmart.

This of course leads to more bailouts which leads to a ridiculous increase to the national debts of not just the USA, but also other major world economies.

This spirals out of control as more autocrats take draconian measures into their own hands.

Eventually small skirmishes turn into small wars which could drag major players into larger conflagrations.

Once again, WW III is my most feared outcome.

I don't think it will be worse. The damn kids carry this virus and there are super carrieres that have it and shed it for months. I think we are going to find that a surprising number of people will have antibodies. There will be other flares ups, but they will be smaller and containable.

TLDR: Thanks to GLP effect no second wave.

Of course we will see the "second wave". And a third, a fourth... Eternal police state, that's what's coming unless people revolt. Soon.
