We still don't know how long the immunity lasts yet, i would be thrilled if it was a lifetime, but hopefully for at least a year, and hopefully it won't be worse the second time the same person gets it because of antibodies.

That and the reopen protestors are basically pushing survival of the fittest. Meanwhile prisons and naval ships are seeing rises in cases and deaths.

The herd immunity idea hinges on the public being vaccinated to provide a basis for immunity. Hell, we don't even know yet if Covid-19 can be immunized or remain like influenza or HIV.

The best outcome appears to be to suffer the economies into late May or early June and then see where we are. This is what the federal task force is pushing - 3 weeks of massive testing and contact tracing and then make an evaluation.
