Most of those places are owned by Democrats and other self-styled political liberals. Very few actual "right-wing" people own or manage a small retail business or food place.

Most white conservatives will be found in skilled trades.

My mum will also have to close her shop for good.

The restaurants that had food trucks are making bank around here. They park in a neighborhood around 4 pm and serve until 7:30 or 8. Order by phone or online. They text you when it's ready. You walk up and get it. Had 2 last week, 3 this week. All locally owned businesses.

My wife works for a restaurant group in NYC......many won't survive this.....I know of a few eateries locally that already thrown in the towel......one was just opened 2 months before being wooflooed.....

Eateries often operate on thin margins to be competitive in cities....

Huge companies that didn't need the money at all, swooped in and took it all before the small businesses could get to the bank.

Companies that were doing great, that were already winners in the lockdown.

Companies like Netflix, with Susan Rice on the Board.
Companies like Amazon, with Bezos as owner.

Of course, they didn't need the money, but, it screwed Americans and Trump will get the blame.
