HANKY CODES

'Handkerchief code' originated in the gay community (decades ago).
It used to be about wearing a hanky with a color/pattern in a back pocket.

Today, it looks like the code ('flagging') is still in use (gone mainstream),
the difference being, it's not about BACK pocket anymore.
Placement can be anywhere. Showing the colors in clothing
or any type of imagery is the 'message' now (still, not a recent thing).

After learning this list, onecan spot the "flagging"
when "advertised" (subliminally) in plain sight.

Knowing the codes helps to see "encoded" visuals in a new light.
Not only in the entertainment and fashion industry (magazines, photography),
but also in posts on the social media platforms.

Perv spotting made easier? At least!
