COVID19: How is your stay at home been so far?
I live in western PA, we started isolation from unnecessary risk of exposure March 16th. That's the day life shifted from normal to reality with covid in the neighborhood.

Kids schools closed, I halted all remodeling jobs, wife's work closed about a week later.

I went to the store once a week. Each time using plenty of hand sanitizer. Cash and checkout I was using a predetermined dirty pocket for change, cash, receipts. Hand sanitized before I touch anything else. The dirty pocket contents were cleaned immediately getting home. Spray bleach water on my shoe tread. All clothes tossed into the washer.

Food is left under a 1000 watt grow light I had being unused until now. They say Sun light kills it. Cold stuff is wiped with bleach sanitizer. Anything that is individually wrapped is taken out of the box.

Then I shower more thorough than ever.

Being at home is not too hard. My kids are happy, no school, plenty of games, tablets, phones, etc...

Being a GLPer I stocked up everything I normally buy for 90 days. No more, no less. I spent time figuring it all out. Kids medicine, soap, food, detergent, everything. Then I topped off my home defense with another 12 gauge, plenty of high quality ammo. Put up decorative zombie bars on all exterior doors. Made all windows difficult to enter.

I tell ya, it sucks this virus but I'm pumped up, motivated and ready to survive this, my whole family will survive this.

I learned how to bake sandwich bread. It turned out really well. Almost like a fresh pretzel but more like bread.

I'm also mentally prepared for what is coming. This is big, way larger than a virus. Even if it is a synthetic genetically engineered corona virus.

I feel it, one day soon we'll all wake up to a new reality. Something life changing, a new world.

Just wanted to share.

Btw, I purchased a paid account. If GLP saved your asses, consider getting paid membership. It's a nice thing to do if you can afford it. I did, thank God for GLP.
