I went to a garden store today. It was packed. I guess flowers also count as essential shopping, at least over here. It's kind of amusing watching people standing in long lines outside supermarkets (due to the limitation of the number of shoppers), feels like communist times. Looks like the whole world is now getting a taste of communism.

1. The police application form I saw didn't ask for any qualifications but DID ask for a list of applicant's convictions FFS. Most frontline plods are thick or have personality problems unless some of them are newbies headed for better things after initial training.

Anyone with a degree is immediately fast-tracked to senior officer status (family experience).

2. Neighbours' kids are often playing out in the big open garden in front of my house (about 6-8x the garden in the video). No one's calling the police or kicking up. It's all private land, private road.
