Time To Stop Believing The Great Mask LIE!

Yes, there is a shortage of masks. Yes, providers need to be given priority for masks.

But regular citizens can and should wear masks to stem the flow of this thing. Masks don't just work for providers. They don't magically ONLY work for doctors or sick people.

We need more production of masks. In the meantime, wear SOMETHING to cover your face when you go to the market. Shit, even double bandana is better than nothing.

There are studies showing that people wearing a surgical mask v. N-95 coughed into a growth medium and both types prevented transmission of disease.

If you wear one, you may not be 100% protected. But if you are an asymptomatic carrier, you wearing one protects others from transmission.

At this point, we have to depart from "only medical staff should wear masks" to "everyone needs to cover up somehow."

If the Chinese government can build a hospital in 10 days, why can't we quickly get mask-manufacturing facilities up and running? Even for surgical masks to distribute to the public? Come on!
