yeah stay underground 6 months maybe you be okay, there wont be resupplies when you surface tho.

It's not too late to prepare though but you will pay a price premium for it.

The only prepping I need to do is get a few more dried goods and try to boost my supply to feed my family for a year. I am currently expanding my garden space in the yard and working towards getting it ready. Also will ask my wife to pick up 5 more chickens so we get more eggs during the shit storm.

And then perhaps I will pick up another 1,000 rounds of .22 lr for my Ruger 10/22, a couple more boxes of 45 rounds and shotgun shells and I should be good. Fuck its not like we will be fighting a war. And I wouldn't mind picking up a night vision scope for my 22 and perhaps a few boxes of subsonic so I can be the master poacher if I need to get protein for my family.


Oh and its a good idea to prep a little for those too stupid to do it themselves. I have warned the few people I know and I think most of them are just blowing me off and think I am over reacting. Well give it about 2 to 3 months and we will see who is overreacting.

I took a pack of t-paper to my wife's niece and her three rug rats because she had run out. Hmmm...she didn't want it because she was too proud. Oh, well, I thought. She'll have to get used to using her hand to wipe. I hope she can still pay her water bill so she can wash her hand afterwards.

This gal will pay for her 13YO daughter's cell phone yet not stock up on essentials due to her inability to save for an eventuality like this. Millineals are very stupid because they were not taught how to utilize their brains. Sure, they can use a cell phone but they don't know how to store up for hard times.

We prepped for Y2k forward...I thought I was in the clear when the kids were raised and out of the house, but then came grandchildren...I still feel responsible for them, so my clan is growing and I need to consider that in all my plans...

Brief, think about your meat supply. I've been talking to a trucker and he says the number of cows being sent to the slaughter house has plummeted to a trickle. Now, go and look at your grocery stores and walmarts and check out their meat departments. My walmart is empty on meats: beef, chicken and pork is GONE. Might want to think about stocking up on meats because I think there will be a shortage for a few months until folks in the slaughter houses can get back to work.

Meat is a luxury...I'm not going to start a farm just yet...there are many other ways to get protein and B vitamins...

Funny that hey, I'm just watching it all unfold as is my family and most of friends who realized my 'little bit of crazy' made sense...fearlessly...I can't believe there are not moar threads on here of 'I had to help someone'...Meh...everyone was warned.

I have a hardcore right wing idiology. My wife's family and my preacher brother are un-enlightened towards my mindset. They look at me when I tell them my theories and what might happen and roll their eyes. One day I feel they will be calling me and begging me for supplies or information. Makes me wonder if I should help or just sit in my house and watch their world burn to a crisp. I'll probably help, but at the same time it will never leave me at how they treated me for years.
