He keeps trying.

The way the market is now, it might finish either 1300 up or down, and possibly have touched both points during the trading day. Who knows.

Shit +/- 5-10% is the new normal. 2-3% is nothing.

Drastically reduced sales, massive losses, supply chain issues. Even with unlimited Fed money it will be dicey for a while I fear.

And no, in futures 5%-10% is not normal when 5% triggers circuit breakers (which we have hit like 6 times this month). In normal trading, though, you are absolutely right. 5%-10% swing and ridiculous volatility are the norm.

Yeah, I'm not sure even that will work right now. We are definitely in charted waters here. 911 and 2008 don't really compare.

Yeah, if there was some hope on the horizon on the shut-down front, and oil/bonds were stable, I might be tempted. But about the only thing feel comfortable investing in now is more ammunition.

Seems content to float between -1.5 to -3 % for now. Guess we'll have to see later if it goes limit down yet again.

This week will make last look like a cakewalk. The liquidity hose isn't working. Faith has been lost. The fed will have to buy literally everything in short order. Unfortunately for them, it isn't that easy.

Should have been zero bailouts for anyone. The bailout is not saving the market or jobs.
