This virus went through over a month ago and they know it. Nearly everyone I know already had it. I knew 2 seemingly healthy men (51&67) who unexpectedly dropped dead with no known cause. Autopsy's supposedly revealed nothing. |

Quoting: Pole Cat Without this specific data, we really can't determine an actual estimate for percentages of people who may have it, or estimate how many may actually die from it. Here is a link that you can use to keep up with how many people have ACTUALLY been tested for it. Just choose your state: [link to www.theatlantic.com (secure)] Only 768 people have been tested for it in my state (Kentucky) and with a population of 4.5 million, that is a bit worrying for me. Anyway, hope some of you all find this interesting. Take care GLP Hate to tell you this but is been here since Jan, its already spread to half the nation, problem is people are freaking out over a flu because the gubbment is telling them to. If this was a real pandemic outbreak we would all be seriously fucked by now hate to tell you this but its been here since December. |

Quoting: Pole Cat I'm pretty sure that's the case in your state as well. Well then what's with all the shutdowns and National Guard then? |

They better be right because the shut down will kill our local and summer tourist-based economy. Quoting: Pabamus V You must be in Cooperstown I’m assuming? I work down there in the summers so I know what you’re saying. Yes, Otsego County. They better have a Marshall Plan for upstate because our economy won't recover. I don’t care about your pronouns. |

Quoting: Ohio chic they just told both of them to stay inside and quarantine themselves for 14 days. so if they are not testing him, they’re not testing a lot of people so these numbers are a bunch of bull If you're not sick enough to go to hospital, you don't need to be tested. Getting tested unnecessarily increases your risk of exposure. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78123652 Yet we can only be tested if we have all thee symptoms, yet they don't and neither did Hanks, he never had a fever. Revelation 13 16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76892169 If they tested everyone in the country right now, there would be millions in each state. They won't because the fatality percentage would drop to next to nothing and they would be exposed. BINGO! Thanks for a voice of reason! The media driven fear, d panic, politicizing, disingenuous reporting along with a concerted effort to flood social media with low life vile shills, DEMANDED Trump 'Do Something!OMG!' even before 1 death in the US. Well, now you shills got what you insisted on and it's 'OMG! Trump is shutting down the country!' These Soros mega mouths are so ate up with hate for President Trump and their own ego they are willing to tear the country down with their 'Orange Man Bad Bullshit'and hurt every American. GLP has turned into Soros Like Productions and MSM useful idiots, it's mostly a manipulated shill circle jerk at this point. |

It would seem to make more sense to use the scarce resource to test only those with symptoms from the vulnerable groups - elderly, people with known health issues that contribute to the severity of having the virus. |
