Perimeter Security Discussion -VIDEO of prowler last night

I started a thread a few weeks back and have since setup my perimeter equipment. I live in a very rural area and have setup perimeter motion detectors, as well as video cameras.

With so many people loosing their jobs, it is inevitable that crime will pick up. People who become desperate WILL eventually start to look for basic necessities that YOU have stockpiled and these people could become violent.

This a video a co-worker shared with my team this morning. He captured someone hopping his neighbors fence and then crawling on all fours.

I want to share the devices that I have installed, so others reading this can also do the same. These are low cost systems that can provide an early warning in the event someone is trying to make you a victim.

1. This is the perimeter motion detection system I found. I have owned a few different one, and so far this one works really well.

2. This is the camera system I have and it works very well, however I do not have it connected to my internet, so I cannot get the instant SMS messaging.
