This is not about "fear" it's about being arrogant and full of pride at a time when they should be examples and pillars of the community. As some have already posted, the Bible is clear about being separate during times of disease. Now they are going to waste resources by acting stupid.  It is about standing up for what you believe in. Christians in the Coliseum, Revolutionary War, etc. So if a tornado, fire, flood, hurricane, mass shooter etc. was heading towards the Church and the police said not to go inside the building, you would all congregate anyhow to 'stand up for what you believe in'? What if there was a bomb about to go off? Just stay inside anyhow? Show that bomb who's boss? This Pandemic is no different than the examples above. It's a matter of Public Safety. It's not about Politics or Human Rights vs. Constitution or unjust laws being passed. How can you even compare this to "Christians in the Coliseum" or "Revolutionary War". Those are completely different issues. We're all in the same boat, except YOU want Special Rights. Selfish! I ask no more than the rights granted to me in the Constitution. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |
