I'm not doing soda bread. I suck at baking any breads but cornbread. So I'm gonna bake up a pone of cornbread in a cast iron skillet.

That's good, too.

I might make some cornbread later this week.

As a Kentuckian Corn bread is pretty much a staple food.

I baked this pone about 8 years ago now.

Enjoy this day and all things that you can while you still can.

I'm putting on a corned beef soon and gonna drink some premium beverages.

May your day be ever enjoyable.

We're having a rough St. Patrick's Day here in tiny-village Ireland. No St. Patrick's Day parade. All the pubs are closed. I think people are in shock.

They did have Irish music blaring over the church PA this morning. I have NO idea what that was about. No cars on the road.

It's like life has stopped.
 Quoting: Eireann

We are the same in the north, no parade in belfast, all bars social clubs closed, supermarkets had no beer from mid afternoon. Our older friends now scared to go out. People on low incomes trying to juggle to get a few extra supplies in. The workers in bars and restaurants etc., No wages social credit takes 6 weeks to sort kids or not. Worst st. Pats in a long, long time

Too bad we don't have St Patrick to
chase the snakes out of the

My corned beef was a success.

I used the stock from the corned beef to cook the cabbage in. I ate too much.

Now I will drink too much lol.

Hope you all the best!

All casinos in NV closing as well as non-essential businesses like strip clubs.

Grocery stores will stay open but not optometrists. Lots of Vegas restaurants offering take-out and delivery. Some even waiving the fees for the latter.

Stocked up with a stuffed freezer but want to keep eating fresh produce as long as possible. Delicious fruit and fresh tomatoes arrived today from Amazon Fresh. They're getting swamped with orders as they also deliver pre-made food.
