Over the past 24hrs we've seen "language" evolve and we can take a lesson from it;

From "Restricted occupancy" to "Restricted Business hours" to "Businesses are closed"

This is no different.

The public needs to be brought into stuff like this incrimentally.

Still, they are doing it VERY fast.

I'm in NJ. I might venture out shortly before curfew just to see how much of a lock down we have.

Movie theaters, bars, restaurants, gyms, and casinos are going to close at 8pm tonight until further notice. Restaurants can still order takeout or delivery.

So what happens if you are a shift worker and get off at midnight or go in at midnight? Are they gonna pull me over and give me a ticket?

Here in Connecticut, Monday the 15th, governor just declared:

- All sit-down restaurants closed at 8pm tonight, until further notice (2 weeks min)
- All bars closed until further notice (2 weeks min)
- All schools already closed for 2 weeks
- Might be limiting amount of people in supermarkets to 50 at a time
- Hearing chatter about statewide lockdown

This is in stark contrast to Trump's speeches lately.

This goes for New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut... shit's getting real pretty fast.

Good for them of they're acting on intelligence of their own. Again, contradicts Trump's "Everything's fine" speech yesterday.

What about the people that have to go to work

I work for a local government agency and deal with the public and I work the overnight shift. I’m one of the people who gets exempted from travel and other restrictions.

They are most definitely trying to limit the stress on the system. Our minimum staffing levels will increase and we are increasing manpower to deal with the heavy increase in call volumes. Staffing and manpower is a constant issue even without mass panic.

It will be interesting to see how the gibsmedats with no self control fare when they act out.
