Good plants to grow that you can use to replace toilet paper.

OK gardeners, get those seeds started now :)

Start at 2:57 if you want to avoid the intro, and for those too lazy to watch any portion of a 10 min video:

Lamb's Ear
Mullein
Grape Leaves (yes, they work on the backside too)
Brassica Leaves (Cabbage, Collards, Mustard, etc.)
Redbud Tree Leaves
Cottonwood Tree Leaves
Mallow leaves (roots make the original marshmallows)
Borage Leaves (young leaves only, mature have prickles)
Thimbleberry leaves (grow in PNW only)

Some additional ones listed in this article:

And for those of you who like to experiment, good idea to make sure you know what these look like and NOT experiment with them:

Well, for those who have to go to the laundromat to do their laundry, that could become an issue during quarantine. At least if you have a giant bed of lambs ear and mullien planted in the yard, you can sneak out at night and harvest a few big handfuls of leaves every so often to keep things back there clean. I dont know if it would be a good idea to flush if on a septic system though.

Ye gods, don't waste mullein wiping your ass - it's too good a lung tonic for that.

Lambs ears is also medicinal, but somewhat less useful, and it's just as soft and fuzzy.
More deplorable all the time.
