Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Triptych in Architecture as a Symbol of Ancient Universal Religion Here is a very interesting presentatiln regarding the triptych, a three door pattern in the building of temples/places of worship. This gentleman I find quite credible and convincing with his research. The Triptych, per this presenter, represents a universal religion (which is based on the balancing of opposites) was perpetuated even after the "universal" religion was cast aside by the Christian religion. Yet the Freemasons built these Gothic cathedral after cathedral with this central theme of three doors with two towers. It took until the 1700's , when a pope declared this style of architecture as heresy towards the church. Nous sommes du soleil. -- We are of the sun. |
