KentuckyGirl User ID: 70760169 United States 03/19/2020 07:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Louisville here, southside drive area. Crazy times. I've been saying we will see how serious this is when we see what happens with the Derby, well, like I said, crazy times Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78051899 Howdy, Southside! Grew up in the Southern Pkwy/Woodlawn area. Great memories of the south end, hated to leave but it was really going downhill when we split for S. Indiana. How are things in the old neighborhood? If you need groceries check the ValuMarket at Iroquois Manor if it's still there. Not sure if it's as good as the one in Mt. Washington but a cousin of mine said that while the larger chain stores near her were out of everything she was able to find quite a bit of stuff at the VM because people go for the big stores first and kinda forget about the smaller ones. Take care! |

Quoting: TheGasMan II 39 minute video [link to youtu.be (secure)] Jeez. He said for every positive case, times it by 10 and that’s likely how many cases there are. So we have 50 positive. Each positive reflects 10 unknown walking about. If memory serves he said this around 16 mins in Hold on to your undies, it's gonna be a hell of a ride |

Each positive reflects 10 unknown walking about. If memory serves he said this around 16 mins in This virus is and has been in the wild in the US for quite a while. But it has not had a super dramatic effect. What will testing do - a) find walking, asymptomatic infected who never knew they were exposed, b) drive up numbers of 'official' cases in rapid manner c) create/reinforce panic claiming its "spreading" The real question when the numbers go crazy is this: Is it spreading or it now in the environment and doing what virus do? The claim will be the former and that things are getting worse. Its spreading, worsening!!! When it maybe we are already at peak and this is it in terms of real health crisis. So far two deaths. The first one had a massive stroke supposedly. But also had the virus. The second also had 'pre-existing conditions'. Not to make light but we have killed the state economy at this point. Palomar in Lexington was a sad scene last night. BTW - Phone stores on on Breshear's hit list. If you need anything at the phone stores better get to it. |

User ID: 72370644 United States 03/20/2020 10:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have read so much stuff since Jan 17 that my mind is in overload. I think it’s been around a while. Look into how many deaths or hospitalization since last summer over unknown or vape pneumonia. I. Trying not to get into conspiracy. Maybe it’s been here and something in nature or just the virus tweaking to survive and it blew in Wuhan. We will likely never know but if we do it’s years down road. Interesting days Hold on to your undies, it's gonna be a hell of a ride |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77963312 United States 03/22/2020 01:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Richmond here. Luckily no cases YET in Richmond/Madison Co. but its only a matter of time now. My wife is still living in New Hampshire until I get out of Basic Training and tech school so we can reunite at whatever duty station I get assigned to. I'm really worried about her guys. If this goes full lockdown she may not even be able to come join me on base. That and the Nola article about the doctor seeing how fucked this disease can be...the ages weren't elderly that filled their ICU. I hope she's safe. I'm doing my best to not go crazy while sitting at home. I wonder if this gets really bad if they'll suspend Air Force BMT temporarily. They're currently screening each new recruit and putting them in isolation for 2 weeks before starting actual training I hear. |
