Per Governor Snaggletooth:

There are two additional cases bring cases to 10.

Also all schools in the state to be closed starting March 16th.

An 11th case as been announced coming from Harrison county.

As of Friday 13th. Kentucky now has 13 cases.

PATIENT DISCHARGED


LEXINGTON, Ky (WSAZ) -- A patient admitted to UK HealthCare that tested positive for COVID-19 has fully recovered, officials say.

According to UK HealthCare this was its' first confirmed case of the coronavirus. The individual was discharged Friday.

Health officials at UK HealthCare say only one patient has tested positive for the coronavirus so far at the facility. Seven patients have tested negative.

First Corona death in Kentucky in Bourbon county confirmed.

All bars and restaurants to close dine in areas. Drive thru and curbside pick up only.
