Re: Notes from an 'Alternate Universe': The Return of the Blue Kachina
Very timely thread op. Very.

You speak truth I can feel it.

Lately I’ve been in a muck, unfocused drained and focused on doom.

I used to be an acid meditator. Haven’t been for a year now.
 Quoting: Doomtarded

Thanks, but what is an acid meditator?

Finally tonight to shake off all this stuff going on I mediated.
 Quoting: Doomtarded

Good. Next step is to think about changing your nick :D

The devil is chaos came up. God is order.

But then I realized Both are needed and smiled at what is happening here...
 Quoting: Doomtarded

Ahh.. yes.

Or, what we call 'God' is everything, including 'the devil'

Also the words “your life is where you shine your light (consciousness) appeared... I’ve intellectually known this but now I know this know this

I’ve always fallen into cycles of:

Want something, pursue, get or don’t get doesn’t matter I get bored or lose interest and focus

Right now I don’t really want anything I just want to BE myself. Any tips on living this? Leap of faith ?
 Quoting: Doomtarded

Then there is nothing for you to do.

You've probably conditioned yourself to think you must be doing something. e.g., always pursue something. And that's when you start the cycle.

Or maybe just add some silence before the next cycle begins? That way you can just be yourself and when you get bored of that, do something else.

You've said it best, “your life is where you shine your light". We get to know who and what we really are through these things we call distractions and drama.

If you shine your light at your center, you won't find anything that can be perceived. But there is nothing for you to find and nothing for you to do. Your purpose is whatever you want it to be. (And that thing you're working towards or trying to be all ready exists.)

Also i realized “order through chaos” is the chaos beings motto and that is the world they are trying to bring fourth... and chaos through order is another way of living (free spirit types) realistically I think in the middle is the proper approach

Order what you can and let the rest come

Great thread and great timing, I can feel my funk fading

hf
 Quoting: Doomtarded

In the middle approach, there is no existence (as there is no movement).

Chaos needs order as much as order needs chaos.

A crude way of looking at it would be, "If God didn't play the devil, there'd be nothing."

Focus. That’s what’s missing.
 Quoting: Tuuur 78452671

Are you now focusing on something else instead of your music?
 Quoting: Jestis

Yes, work takes up most of my time. In the weekends I learn to paint. And after work it is mostly zoning out browsing internet. Not watching cable tv or news.

Do I like to be alone? Sometimes. There aren’t many ppl I like to be around. And I definitely don’t like crowds.
 Quoting: Tuuur 78452671

Have you ever tried going without electronic media for a few days/weeks?
 Quoting: Jestis

I haven't. Tried it a few months ago but failed.

Get rid of your desires. Turn it, instead, into things that are missing in your perspective.
 Quoting: Jestis

I like that piece of information a lot! I will see what I can discover!

I should take your example of car-part as a coincidence but I find that hard to believe.
 Quoting: SpawnX

Aren't we all looking for car parts? lol

Ok I went back on my history to check the dates, I interacted with the star-trek movies as it lead me to a new project which didnt appear on my radar till after watching. It appears the final frontier ship made it to me. The most logical one in need of maintenance and body armor. Literally Frontier crept into my personal space as I picked up a D22. To explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before! Gosh if only I would have watched Blank Check.
 Quoting: SpawnX

We can learn a lot about our lives by paying attention to the songs we find ourselves listening to (or that play in our minds), movies we watch, etc.

It's not as external as we think. They're illustrations of what is currently going on 'inside' of us.

You can still watch Blank Check, but now it's intentional so it won't work.

Hello OP,

I am trying to get my head around all this, so thanks for posting!

So it seems that there is some kind of duality:
One/Focus and Infinity/Chaos

When we tend to focus on the infinity stuff, more so on the possiblities of what could happen, you loose yourself in this infinity?

So you are saying: we should start focusing and then we see?

Hello OP,

I am trying to get my head around all this, so thanks for posting!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78359214

Certainly :)

So it seems that there is some kind of duality:
One/Focus and Infinity/Chaos
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78359214

Yes. Basically, order and chaos.

Relationships and Interaction.

(Focus could also be infinity, as you can infinitely focus and there is all ways more detail about that which you are focusing on)

When we tend to focus on the infinity stuff, more so on the possiblities of what could happen, you loose yourself in this infinity?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78359214

I suppose you could say that life is focusing on one line of possibilities, with all other folding into it (becoming redundant).

Like a dream, when you focus on one detail you can be 'pulled in' to the dream.

You're meant to be 'lost' in it. That's the only way you can exist (by endlessly perceiving something).

So you are saying: we should start focusing and then we see?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78359214

You don't need to do anything. Each has its benefits.

You can both focus, or unfocus, to see more of reality.

However, if you focus you would focus on everything-at-once rather than specific details. You would think about the system (or group of things) as one thing, and interact with it as if it was one thing.

That is exactly what you are doing with your body now. You are bringing it all together through macro-focus. If you focused only upon a cell you would not be able to see the big picture, and would have a different experience of the reality.

Curious... of those 8 hours, how many are required by your job to access the internet?

Media is okay by itself, I think. Problems arise when it's done at mass scale, as with social media or the internet itself.

At that scale it becomes thought suppression. It bombards you with information to keep you from thinking your own thoughts.

I read some conspiracies ago that said that some higher level people in power said "Do what you want, as long as you chatter...", meaning something like:
The more chatter, distractions, noice, the better (for us).
Now with the political, people are not talking, they are shouting aggressively.

I think I need to talk a walk in nature the next days..

For those who remember their dreams perhaps sometimes when you try to change them (while dreaming), nothing happens. But when you, instead, focus on the feeling of what you want, then it happens eventually. Does anyone have this experience?
 Quoting: Jestis

Sometimes. I don’t always remember my dreams but this happens to me when I go lucid. My trigger to go lucid is when I am about to die in my dream. I always focus on wanting to live in that moment and then just transition in my dream state. I love knowing I’m invincible in the dream world!!!! I actually look forward to the experience. :)

Why the 5G edits?

Is it true that Wuhan and Milan both are 5g hotspots?

What are your thoughts on this tech and it’s relationship to the virus and it’s propogation?

Personally, I think the numbers they are reporting are totally unreliable and grossly underestimated. Reported doesn’t translate to what’s actually happening. It’s like they are so zoomed in, like a macro photograph, can’t see the totality of the picture as it rests in relationship to the reality that surrounds it.

Im interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
