As a prepper, why would you want this? Fire works just fine. I don't need additional 'things' to carry around.
Preppers need minimal items. Easy to pack up, move around and get away.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76408544 You know you really are not thinking of the wide variety of preppers here and what they are prepping for. This little stove weighs only a few pounds. Most of them come in a carrying case. If I lose power down here in Florida due to storms I am not going to be building a fire out in the yard to make coffee or cook rice. Also even BBQs can be a pain to deal with for, like I said above the boiling water frying egg thing. Not to mention as she points out in the video a small stove can be a little more stealth. Shelter in place is a thing. If you wanna go full on out inawoods and build yer smoke signal fire go on ahead. Quoting: Starbird I think the two of you have different ideas of prepping. Yours is short term his is very long term. How much fuel are you going to store? 3 months, 6months, years or is this for the real and much more common SHTF that lasts for a couple of weeks or days? FYI: Long term you'll be inawoods and build yer smoke signal fire. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75926151 Long term in the woods there are actually ways to build small, efficient fires that don't throw a huge heat signal off. Dakota Fire Hole.
