Does anyone here on GLP know anyone personally that have contracted CV19?

Considering "Death by Diversity" has killed thousands across North America so far this year, and not one death from CV19, shouldn't we be diverting the focus to something else?

If all those early computer simulations were correct on how fast this virus would spread, surely by now dozens of GLPers would be responding about personal experiences. But there are none.

It hasn't Clustered here in Canada or USA yet, but it is about it. Vancouver is about to become a hotbed, as it's already loose and there has been all sorts of contact by asymptomatic people who later confirmed to have the covid. I say Vancouver as one of the first places because of things like how this weekend the school boards sent a letter to the parents warning that someone who later was confirmed covid had attended the schools there. So that's potentially a lot of children and their families, and you can imagine the explosive growth from there.

Once it clusters, then you get the exponential spread thing going on, and it becomes something that is very likely everyone will come in contact with.

How often do you catch the Cold, despite knowing it's coming? That's the same kind of virus.

GLP isn't a Canadian only forum.
There are people on GLP from around the world.
Canada supposedly already has 44 cases of COVID19. And yes, it makes sense that Vancouver due to it's high asian population will see an explosion first - provided what THEY are telling us is true.
However so far no one on GLP knows anyone who has been affected despite this going on for 2 months now.

If they die, they die of standard flu.

Quite possible in the coming weeks some of us could know someone personally.

We all have it, you just haven’t been diagnosed.

nobody on GLP to date has reported directly knowing somebody that was infected.

We had a report from somebody's child, who's mother was

a nurse in tennessee that reported there was a confirmed case at their hospital

but that is about it.

Not sure what criteria you are looking for here but I have a colleague in Shanghai that has it. We have met in person 2 years back when she visited our offices.

But absolutely nobody locally here, there are 0 cases in Ireland

Know some who were ordered self-quarantined by CDC due to travel, but not positively infected.

You know what's even stranger? There are no, zero, nada cases in NY. That's how you really know this is a fraud because there are more people in out of those ports, airports, trains, subways and streets than anywhere else in the US on a daily basis.

That is the litmus test, not just GLP.
