So for those who remember SARS more clearly than I do (wasn't the right age to pay attention to that sort of shit back then), how bad is this in comparison?
Was the WHO and CDC telling everyone they were basically fucked?
Entire Chinese cities shut down?
Talks of U.S. cities shutting down?
Was any of that going on during the SARS outbreak?

But all the people who remember SARS are old enough to remember 9/11 and anthrax, so we no longer have any trust at all in government. We're all looking to figure out what their angle is, and why they are pushing this hype, because it's always something isn't it? I just hope that it's not as serious as they're making it out to be.
