Re: 13 Year Old Kentucky Boy Killed In Unknown Animal Attack
I got stalked by a mountain lion in red rock canyon while tripping on acid. I still have ptsd. It was screaming at us and kept coming but never attacked. It was like 110 degrees that day and it chased us for a few miles.

I had a co2 BB gun pistol on me. It was that day I realized how worthless a BB gun is. I didn’t shoot the cat cause I didn’t want to agitate the thing.

After that I bought a Glock and have carried a pistol every day since and that was 1995.

Bear or wild dogs. Probably pit bulls let loose. They will DNA test the bites and know for sure.

.

One might assume a mountain lion or bear would drag away its prey, not just kill it and leave. That sounds more like pit bulls to me.

No mountain lion..or wolf..or coyote is going to drag their kill 300 or 400 feet up a steep cliff. They will drag to the nearest brush/bush and sit and feed

Thirteen years old. What a shame.

There's a mountain lion been spotted around where I live and people have been fighting over to call in report or not report. Clearly the ones who don't want the lion reported don't have kids.
 Quoting: ~Sloane~

We have had problems with Cougars in the mountains where my cabin and acreage are located. Its extremely rural. I heard a noise on the front deck, looked out the window and there was a cougar with a cub looking at me.

I killed a rabid coyote a couple of years ago. I went out the kitchen door after dark and there it was foaming at the mouth and snarling at me. I went into the house, got a hand gun and then shot it.

The vultures had a feast!

And you're gonna need to dump the whole mag into a pissed off mountain lion, bet on it.

If they are stalking you, they are hungry.

If you catch one stalking you, don't hesitate but don't move too fast. Slowly and deliberately draw and aim. If it immediately turns and leaves, it made it's decision and will not be back. Give it one second to decide. If it stays looking at you, send it to God.

Re: 13 Year Old Kentucky Boy Killed In Unknown Animal Attack
"With the result of what happened to this child yesterday, that's as bad as it can get," said Jody Sims with Kentucky State Police.

Officials say the initial cause of death is being ruled as the result of an animal attack.

"Their initial determination was this was caused by injuries consistent with an animal attack," said Sims.

Officials say the boy was staying at a relative's house but was not new to the area.

Officials say that while it is being ruled an animal attack they still do not know what killed the boy.

I've heard rumors it was a bear, mountain lion, or pack of wild dogs.

I find it odd that they haven't released that much info regarding this case. I highly suspect Mountain Lion. Sad anyways. If it were a wild animal attack it would be one of the rare cases that occurs.

I drove across Kentucky and there were feral dogs running around everywhere. I was amazed how many there were just trotting along the the interstate and weren't scared of shit. Every ravine was full of old tires refrigerators washing machines cars soda machines etc. Kentucky is a shithole for sure.

Poor boy. There's a lot being left out in the articles about it. Hope they can get to the bottom of it and find what animal, if it was an animal, killed him.

Dogs run around together quite often in KY backwoods. Coyote are all over too. Could be either one.
Never saw a mountain lion in KY, but plenty of rumors go around about them.

Re: 13 Year Old Kentucky Boy Killed In Unknown Animal Attack
A mountain Lion would have carried the boy up to the top of a tree and ate him-leaving what is left up there.

Too cold for bears and they usually run the other way.
Saskawatch? A government cloning project with radio tracking and radio control of Old Big Foot.

Wolves get away from humans as fast as they can.

A pack of coyotes are the opposite of wolves they attack humans and would also eat what they kill.

He was not eaten.

Sounds like a Pscho acting as an animals with special cutting weapons

Then, back to clone-hybrid top secret government creatures--I will go with that one.

It would if it were disturbed, like the girl in Richmond a few years ago, they blamed it on her dogs, but even dogs don't do what this thing did to her.

My first thought was a cougar/mountain lion and I still feel that it was.

I am sad for the family and for the terror the child endured.

Wild hogs can kill pretty savagely as well. Domestic hogs can do that, too.

But yeah, messed up that they can't say what kind of animal.
