I registered my sons in a troop and the scout leaders couldn’t wait to get his time alone with them. He kept persisting for time where I wouldn’t have to be there.
He also kept letting his hand touch my shoulder every time he talked to me.
These kinds of groups unfortunately are havens for child predators and these perverts did it to themselves and the organization for trying to hide it.
I see how everyone sees and knows the scout leader is a creep but none of them want to rock the boat. They are weak cowards in the same troop. And that was just 1 troop out of thousands!!
I straight up told him, my boys are only going to camps and events that I attend and I am more than open to get a background and finger print if needed.

I love how MSM keeps blaming the 'lawsuits' when a huge part of this bankruptcy was driven by LDS Church pulling over 400,000 boys from the program. The Mormons have enrolled every boy in the Boy Scouts for many years and the LDS Church paid the dues for all of them. This group represented 20% of the overall membership.

The trouble started w/LDS when BSA allowed ghey leaders. And when the name was changed to "Scouts" and the word "Boy" was dropped, that was the final straw. LDS created their own program and pulled all 400k of their boys out. This crippled the organization financially and the abuse lawsuits were the final blow (pun intended) that toppled it over.

Big tech and MSM won't say a WORD about how going WOKE is what REALLY killed the BSA. If they still had the money and backing from LDS, they might have survived the lawsuits.

Girls Scouts wasn't much better, especially summer camp. I was about 9 or 10, It was so horrible and frightening I made them contact my mother and have her come get me to go home weeks early. I never went to a summer camp again it was so scary. I know why now.
