I was hoping for fury to win... Wilder is a product now and they mentioned how he spoke to the pope. All the sudden he was on this higher god nonsense.

Plus he was talking about his challenges with drugs and depression.

And I thought Fury might get a cut-opening on that pre-existing injury during training camp..

Wilder did remind me of Sunny Liston during the Ali fight. I kept thinking Sunny as Fury mopped the floor and ceiling with him.

Wilder certainly was, absolute joke. Fury's. A bloody MMA fighter ffs and still whooped this boxers ass all over the place.

It was a shame it was so early but then again every second in there is a chance one of those windmills land so that was clearly the game plan. Was a worry to see Wilder so ‘exposed’ & bleeding from the ear.

It was over after the first round, would have been nice to see some ‘boxing’ rather than a bare knuckle type bout but, he was superbly dominant. I don’t think AJ could handle that consistency in coming forward.

& AJ doesn’t have the best chin either although I’m a big fan & rate him as the best all round fighter (boxer) in the world at the mo.

That Hollywood punch should have ended boxing on the spot.

Liston, like Wilder, was not a money maker. People like Ali and Fury are money makers. Is it Profitable … that is the question.

I remember when I was young my Dad putting on old footage of some historic fights. Was it Jack Johnson that was the tall black fellow, I remember an INSANE amount of rounds lol.

How does it suck? if you get hurt that's how it goes, its fucking boxing, deontay had that nervous look all night before he even started taking punches and coming in with that black power rap bullshit made me want to see him go down even more

I think we all just wanted to see some ‘boxing’ thrown in the mix for a few rounds, as it was it was Fury just beating on him lol. Was fantastic brawling though.

Superb show if not epic ‘boxing’.

My impression, from the beginning, was that Wilder feared that if he threw his vaunted right punch that Fury would bite his arm off.

When I was a kid my brother punched me in the face. I coldly starred at him for about 30 seconds when he suddenly took off running like a rabbit. That was wilder after knocking Fury down in the first fight.

Look at Richard Steele the night he ended it 3-4 seconds before the bell in the 12th with Chavez-Taylor. When Taylor threw and landed a RECORD number of punches and was way ahead that night..

Okay, I see why you hold Ruiz in such high regard. Can you imaging a fight between Fury and Ruiz?

The blow to Wilder’s ear in the 4th round busted his ear drum and screwed his balance up. He could not come back in this fight. He may never again be the same.
