New California bill prohibits charging anyone under 20 as an adult

but they want to lower the voting age to 16

They're still trying to empty the prisons by any means possible, including dumping violent felons back on the street. California becomes effectively more lawless every day.

You are considered an adult when you are old enough to join the military and possibly die for your country.

Yet......you can't buy cigarettes now unless you are 21. You Can't drink unless you are 21, or purchase alcohol.

You can take out debt in your own name. at 18

You get to vote at age 18.

You get college funding until 22 if living at home with your parents. You get medical the same way.

OH yeah, almost forgot, you can't purchase a hand-gun until 21.
