OP...........most people do not die from the flu per se......it is not in the best interest of a virus to kill off its host.

People generally die from pneumonia.......but you will not hear this too much from the media.

Those with an undeveloped or weakened immune system will have a poor immune response to the virus.

Their own immune system will then damage lung tissue..........which results in the lungs filling up with fluid.......hence, pneumonia.

Then.......they eventually suffocate on the fluid.

Hence it is their own immune system which kills them.......not the flu bug.

Maybe because they have locked down 50 million people( unprecedented) and hospitals are over run with the sick and dying.
Reports are that an estimated 5 million people left before the lockdown occurred.
At the current rate of infection by 2/14 we should see approx 181k people dead.
Who knows how many are sick out of the 5 million that left.
While I don’t like to speculate let’s just estimate that .0001 % of those were infected. That would be 500 people.

Next 10 days or so should be really telling on how bad it’s gonna get outside wuhan.
