Anonymous Coward User ID: 67075389 Kosovo 01/26/2020 05:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I had to take him to e.r. overnight, the prescribed zofran? I asked about using emetrol and they said prescription meds are better (b.s. he is still writhing in pain, temporarily stops nausea but nothing more). I heard about pure grape juice but that could be for prevention, have any of you used Manuka honey?? Any suggestions will help. Thank You! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77547800 Go to the Doctor or to an ER at a hospital. You people who look for medical advice on Facebook, Twitter, GLP or any other website should be horse whipped and then tarred and feathered....just sayin bro. If it was my kid I would NOT ask online for help. I would take him to the hospital. Stupid is the force in you |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78060222 United States 01/26/2020 05:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ginger ale. It helps settle the stomach. Green tea. Saltine crackers. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14562270 Ginger ale (with ginger) he can't keep it down, maybe I can find a ginger supplement. Saltines / Green tea I'll definitely grab, heading to store soon will keep checking back. Thank u If he can't keep anything down, you need to give his stomach a break. You rehydrate slowly. A teaspoon. If he keeps it down for 30 mins, give another teaspoon. His stomach is constantly feeling nauseated because it never gets a break. If the ER didn't give him IV fluids when you went, he's okay. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77547800 My suggestion is don't give him random house wife remedies, it stands the chance of aggravating it, or giving stomach cramps, especially herbs!! Stomach bugs you just have to deal with it. But this could easily be food poisoning, maybe a visit to the doctor so they can provide you with a proper treatment for it not a glp folk remedy. |

( OKC / central OK ) It was a slow recovery also dont get in a hurry to start eating spicy foods. Use the opportunity to correct your diets and stick to meats vegies and fruit. Throw out all the junk food and sugar. Life is all about choices |

Yes, He had fluids via IV only threw up once today but stomach pains back. It is NOT food poisoning, he had blood drawn, nose swab, I'm basically looking for something else that may calm his stomach, help fight virus. All he had was 1 slice of toast, honey and applesauce today and not all at once. |

Its also important to eat since the body will take some of it like white rice with salt (yes just that). Or carrot purree with chicken. Should be over in a couple days. |

Maybe I should have worded post differently just a little tired ugh. He will continue liquids, no more foods until tomorrow, and of course if he declines the e.r. is 5 minutes away :) |
