Man chooses to go to hell as God doesn't want anyone to perish!! It's just that God is perfect and Holy and we stained with sin cannot enter into His holiness without the imputed righteousness of His Son Jesus as a covering.

He is sacrificed on the cross on Passover, buried and resurrected three days later, but now he's a new creature able to appear anywhere, pass thru walls and closed doors, He's glorified and immortal, that's finished.

He's the creator that came down as a simple humble man, to show what a righteous man life looks like fulfilling the Torah (Jesus Life), then he gives that righteous vessel His Holy Spirit, therefore his son Jesus and him(Spiritual form) are one in the same vessel.

For us it's bit different, because we were born from the
seed of the flesh, the sinful nature of the flesh, we then receive the Holy Spirit as soon as we believe and get baptized, the baptism is a witness of our willingness to learn The Way of God, and walk on that His Holy Path, starting as a novice, a disciple.

The Holy Spirit then for us former sinners, is like the spoke man's of God, and also a powerful 'plugin' to overcome what human have lost overtime by alienation.

You get a new sight, you hear spiritual messages, both from Holy and Evil spirits, your body gestures are being set in motion by the Holy Spirit ect ect...there many many ways The Holy Spirit helps, assists, guides, teaches, reveals, highlights things ect...this would blow anyone's mind.

This is the new covenant, because the enemy has deployed so much tricks, so much deceptions, lies, rules, endless features and systems that make close to impossible for any of us to overcome.

That's the scope of the Holy Spirit and beyond, to help us to walk the narrow path to enter God's Kingdom, but each one of us has to walk accordingly, else the feeling of Holy Spirit would remain limited, that means you wouldn't overtime experiences and benefit from these powerful features described above, in other words if you stay like a baby you will experiences features according to that baby state.
