News right now is that it was an industrial facility, a building of some sort. No chem plants out this way.

I heard it and felt it. My apartment building rocked. The location they are showing right now is about 10 miles from me. Whoa, it felt like it was right outside the building, or very near. The rumbling echoed. Scared the fuck out of me.

Didn't hear sirens which was weird. But now I realize that it was too far away to hear sirens. So far, no video or pictures on the news.

News saying that people closer are being evac'd thinking there could be a secondary explosion.

People 25 - 30 miles away heard it and felt it.

Just saw more footage. This explosion was huge..

I'm far enough away that we're safe. But wow! It rocked my apartment hard.
Some door bell cams caught it. Huge fireball went up, but news can't get close to it right now. Big police presence in the area.

Yep. I’m about 15 min from there in the memorial area and I was in the shower when it happened. I heard and felt it too.

I felt it, windows shook, thought someone was breaking in the house

That's the only footage I've seen so far. Same as the local news just showed. There are homes damaged close to the blast, windows blown in, some light structural damage.

I'm just off of Briar Forest, the Memorial Thicket area. Sounds like you're close by.

Live chopper cam is up now. Whatever it is doesn't look like a very large facility. Flames aren't that bad, looks to be controlled. It's too dark right now to see much more than that.

Was just watching it doesn't look huge at all. They did say worried about more possible explosions so combustibles still there possibly.. Meth lab gone very very wrong?
