I guess that kind of work would make someone a little weird, even if they weren't before.

Not everyone gets an autopsy, only those who die from unknown causes. If you are under doctor's care and have a diagnosed illness, which people who are dying already do, there is no autopsy.

Autopsy is expensive and time consuming. Not necessary to autopsy to dispose of a dead human, if the cause of death is obvious.

Obesity is a deadly unhealthy addiction. Demonize drugs but promote obesity acceptance. It is a crime to commit suicide, not wear your seat belt, take pain meds, etc., but kill yourself, children and family with obesity is OK. If laws were to be equal, It should be treated as a crime like all the other self harm and harm to others. It is greed, taking food that should go to others in need. The makers and sellers of non nutrient food supplies appealing to the obese should be treated and punished as drug dealers and pushers. And no the gross deadly disease of obesity is not beautiful no matter how many times you say it or how you dress it.

You are correct. It is probably the number one crisis affecting the future of this country. It is out of control. No terrorist organization could ever do as much damage as obesity.

I just don't understand. It is not just about the person who allows themselves to get to that point, but what about their loved ones? That's before we even get into the price society pays for the levels of obesity we now see.

IMO, the first point of blame needs to go to the gov for telling people to load up on damned carbs with that stupid food pyramid.

If you're fat or have been fat for some time, go see your doctor first, check your heart's health, you don't want to die working out (it's happened to people).

As a medical examiner it would be beneficial to remove yourself from feelings as you do your job, so as not to be F’d in the head, as you put it.

That color of fat is from commercial feed- soybeans and corn.

An animal that eats a proper diet of supplemental vegetation and grazing has a fat that is white in color and in much older animals it will turn slightly orange from the bet carotene in grass.

That yellow waxy color is the result of a dorito rich diet.

It would help if the FDA didn't approve things like High Fructose Corn Syrup.

I do not see how anyone can blame the gov for peoples addictions, over indulgence and bad personal choices. That is just not taking responsibility for your own behavior and stop blaming anyone other than yourself for what you do. Obese have so many other people to blame and excuses for why they over indulge.
