I'm not certain I'm right, here, but wouldn't this likely have been for the original attempts at a SARS/MERS virus? (You know, the ones that killed the test subjects due to antibody dependent enhancement?) I'm thinking the spike protein was probably similar, if not identical.

What is now marketed for canine CoV is Merck’s Nobivac Canine 1-Cv.

There is a combo drug for the disease called Canine Spectra 7 made by Boehringer Ingleheim which ended up eventually being bought by Pfizer in 2017.

Of course there is PLENTY, almost everything in fact, beyond what I know or can see, or have interest in, but to me it looks like one of the zillion patents that was a dud.
