Do you trust Justice Roberts to hear Impeachment? poll

I did until I saw him today. Looked like some sort of smirking Opie.

Roberts is an appellate court justice. This is his first ever trial. He'll back out and let the Senate run it.

More than breaking. They wiped their ass with it after they were through shitting on 60 million voters. Then had the nerve to invoke the very same document repeatedly that they just shredded.

They are the enemy. Anybody who supports it regardless of who the president is is the enemy. There is no other way to look at it.

And unfortunately I think that's by design as well but if it's let go and allowed to happen then the country is lost.

They've stuck us in the catch-22 from hell.

I think Roberts was on the list that went to Epstein’s island. Does that answer the question

All Robert's can do is see that the rules for the trial are followed and those rules are set by the Senate.

Can we trust Republican Senators? That is the question.

Over the last 3 years + they have shown that they wear skinny pants that constrict their balls - so I really don't trust but a handful of Repubs. to stand up and do the right thing - I think we have seen over the many many years that there are too many Repub.cowards that will stand up to the corrupt Demonrats.

That said, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and the Republicans can maintain complete control over every aspect of the upcoming proceeding so long as they maintain a solid block of 51 votes.

In the end, I doubt that Democrats have much to hope for from Roberts, or that Republicans have much to fear. The smart money is that he will strive to replicate Rehnquist’s approach of doing “nothing in particular and [doing] it very well.”

No power. The judge is basically ritual but the senators have literally all the power. Senators can even overrule the judge with a vote so it doesnt even matter
