Basically their "operation revenge" has failed miserably.

Even if Trump has underestimated the damage done, the mission was greatly underwhelming in impact.

If anything it has damaged their improving relations with Iraq.

A total disaster for the Ayatollah. Their already "hanging by a thread" economy will hurt even more with the new sanctions.

Adding to the pain Trump basically implied "He boys you gave it your best shot ...... All we got from it was a bit of a scratch"
