Not directly across from Mar-A-Largo but on another bridge about 5 miles away..there are three bridges to Palm Beach...

Apparently it’s the second time a group has demonstrated there...

Palm Beach warn residents they might see individuals openly carrying firearms in the area of the Royal Park Bridge.

The Palm Beach Police Department has alerted residents that the pro-gun group Florida Carry has planned a demonstration from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday near Royal Park Bridge, according to the group’s Facebook page.

In release issued Monday afternoon, police said residents may see “individuals openly carrying firearms in and around the area” of the bridge, which leads to the island.

The department will have security measures in place to ensure the safety of town residents, police said. Traffic delays also are a possibility, the release said.

Public Information Officer Michael Ogrodnick said that the group has not confirmed the event aside from posts on Facebook.

“From their social media, that seems to be their intent. We’re anticipating it and preparing for it,” Ogrodnick said.

In March Florida Carry members gathered on the Royal Park Bridge to wave at passing cars while wearing handguns and holding AR-15 rifles in support of both the section of Florida’s gun law that allows the “use and possession of a firearm while engaged in fishing, camping, target shooting or hunting, or going to and from lawful hunting, fishing, target shooting or camping expeditions” and President Donald Trump.

The bridge they will be on is about 5 miles away
Allows fishing and pedestrians
Close to downtown and Trump Plaza
A pair of skyscrapers off Flagler

What ever happened to the open carry / constitutional concealed carry bill in FL congress?

I heard it was looking favorable.
