Certain artifacts are protected and handed down generation to generation. Tut's mitochondrial dna is from a mummy believed to be Nefertiti, or Akenaten's mistress. As it is thought that he and Nefertiti had only daughters, the dna is most likely from the mistress.


*We have artifacts in our family handed down from Louis the 14th and Versailles. It doesn't make us hundreds of years old.

I'm glad that it comforts you to have "the official dna
reports" on Tut.

Unfortunately, if the info about the timeline for Tut
and Akenaten has been "skewed" (for whatever reason)
do you REALLY think you can believe anything from the
established about these great kings?

My suggestion to you is that you just "table" what you
think you KNOW about Tut and Akenaten and see what shakes
out in the newest information slowly being uncovered.
