YOU try holding onto a tree for days in 110 degree temperatures with no water. Fuck, some of you people are truly sickening. Absolutely right. Kalgoorlie/Laverton got up to 56 Celsius a few years back. But this is all I can agree with you on. 1. It's been dry for a few years now. Human-built dams are drying up, so forget about the streams and creeks these animals rely on. 2. Rabies is rare in Australia. With koalas, you have to be careful because they carry chlamydia. Find better sources before making an ass if yourself. Also, the koala on the video was clearly not rabid. Do you know what rabies is and what the signs are? Did you even watch the video? 3. I dare you to come here and sit outside with me. A warm breeze on a 45 degree day and it feels like you're in a fan-forced oven. I drink between 5 and 8 litres of water when I spend a day out on the bush, just walking. Now do it without water. You're an idiot if you think you'll survive. Many stories of stranded motorists who had no water. In this heat, you're dead in 2 days if you're not found. 4. Why a lefty? I could take offense, as I'm left-handed, but I know what you meant. As humans, our one and only duty is to be the Caretakers of the Creation. It is the only thing the Creator expects of us. That means loving all living things and helping all living things we are able to (in a position to) help. If your political ideology does not include room for love and compassion, I want no part of it. (By the way, I'm a far right-leaning conservative. But I'm not filled with hate and vitriol like some people seem to be.) 5. Learn to VPN. You forgot to change your location when you changed your sock. ------------------ As an aside, No, you do NOT want a koala as a pet. They are cute. But they are vicious. And not as friendly as you'd like. Their claws will rip you apart and leave a nasty infection. The bite can give you chlamydia. As an earlier poster said, this koala was clearly desperate. Koalas are an endangered species confined to areas that are currently burning up and their natural water sources have been appropriated by humans. In hot dry summers in the US putting water out for animals does a lot of good for them but you don't give a shit and you're too thick to even understand. |

What is disgusting here is that these bikers "by accident" are confronted with the tragic fate of this little animal and his family. They live there and know what's happening. |
