Nothing seemed incomplete. There were some etchings and holes in the stones but they had a purpose. One traced the path of the sun through the year, one hole was where the sunlight shine through at noon, and another one was in a diagonal through the middle slab that was in the direction of the true celestial axis (presumably the direction North/South would be if there Earth didn't tilt.
